I listen to a lot of music, read a lot of books, hike a lot of hills, and sing some solid punk rock. I'm deeply intrigued by how art and science intersect in chemistry, physiology, and environment, and what we can dig out of that to help those who aren't getting what they need. I love a good challenge, and especially enjoy finding new people to work with and befriend.

We're held in each others' experiences by pools of light - literally and metaphorically, ok -
my work is to give you extra time in those fleeting moments.

As a photographer, what feeds my soul is up close, personal, vibrant life pouring out of the strange, funny, mundane, gutting, and miraculous beauty of human experiences. In my work in the medical field, I refill both my cup of compassion and my drive to be an active part of physical, useful change, by rooting my curiosity in the context of my community's struggles and hopes. I also taught kids and worked as an actor for 10+ years, and the childlike vulnerability and curiosity of any given person, buried under some amount of layers of life and bubbling to the surface in moments of intensity, has always been my lodestar.
